Walking meditation 0

This is a mindfulness exercise. Walk (with your eyes open!), and pay attention to everything that surrounds you. Walk slowly, without changing your gait in any way. First, begin by concentrating entirely on your speed, on your legs, your feet, your breathing, on the smells and sounds which surround you. Observe, acknowledge, and… move on! Consider the pleasure it gives you to control your own body, your own legs well enough to attain the constant balance which makes it possible for you to walk. If your attention drifts from walking or your environment, calmly bring it back. Synchronize the rhythm at which you walk with your breathing. When you’ve decided to end this meditative exercise, simply stop.
